Alchemy is no more, but here's what we were...

Alchemy Design is neither a large corporation nor a sole proprietorship. What we are is an LLC assembled by Greg Garcia in 1998 and comprised of varying employees [as need dictates]. Garcia, who has been freelancing as a graphic artist for ten years (and who attended the Paier College of Art before computers had any role in art), teamed up with Krista Mazzaferro to form the core of the company. Mazzaferro, a UCONN graduate, had been creating web sites for several years and brought to the table not only great skill in HTML, ColdFusion, and site architecture, but excellent business skills as well. Finally, Doug Bezona joined the pair, bringing with him extensive knowledge of programming in SQL, ColdFusion and other languages. Doug combines this with a keen eye for design and a clear understanding of site architecture.

From this core, we have expanded to include specialists in programming, multimedia, pre-press, and sales - representing decades of experience - to create what we consider one of the best teams in New England. The most important team member is always the client, without whom there is nothing more than so much kinetic energy. As a team, we can create whatever our imaginations dictate.
