I had a fun and interesting evening last night, made a new friend (I hope), drank some wine, and saw Amy Tan speak. That's not usually my cup of tea but she was very intelligent and entertaining. I may have to rethink my determination to avoid culture.

This morning, however, I am pretty sure that the best thing to do would be to take a nap. I'm also pretty sure that that's not in the cards. Off to work!
