Rock band The Kelvins is not a national act yet, but they understand that looking the part is a great start to getting there.
Their unique site reflects their image without relying on the standard clichés of band sites: enigmatic intro pages, band photos and garish colors. They wanted a different approach, so Alchemy created illustrations to represent them. Oh, sure, there are photos on the "see us" page, but curiosities are piqued enough to actually get people there - it's the 3rd most viewed page on the site.
Also included are Mp3s, a custom-designed messageboard and a news page updated weekly. The site now gets an average of over 3,000 page views per month.
